You have received an invite to a meeting that is taking place on Microsoft Teams:

On your Email Invite to the meeting will be a link as below, close to the start time of the Meeting, click the link:

 

  1. You will be prompted to join the Meeting in two methods, Download the App or Join on the web instead.
  2. We would recommend downloading the Teams App for a richer experience, but you can click Join on the Web instead

   

A prompt may appear to ask your permission to use Microphone or Camera and click Allow (You can turn off both at a later stage)

 

 

 

 

You will be prompted to enable your Camera or Microphone as below by selecting the appropriate sliders

Click Join now

 

You are in the Meeting.

An Options Bar will appear as below which will help you manage your meeting.

 

 

 

 

The second button below allows you to turn off your Microphone,

It is good practice, if there is a loud noise in the meeting or echoes to turn off your Microphone to minimise any extra noise to begin with

 

The first button below allows you to turn off your Camera

The fifth button below enables the Chat function in the Meeting

 

The chat function is useful if you don’t have a Microphone or Camera to join in the meeting or raise questions for a Presenter to follow up when they can
